World’s first Mini census

Minis may be small, but they have one of the biggest personalities on the road, and the organisers of Mini World Live want to find out more.

They are carrying out the world’s first ‘Mini Census’ ahead of the event which takes place on Sunday July 10 at Rockingham Motor Speedway, Northants.

The census aims to find out the gender split between Minis – whether they’re male or female, plus where they live, the average age of their owners and, most importantly, what the top 10 names for Britain’s Minis are.

So whether yours is Mickey or Minnie, old or new, Mini World Live wants you to help build up a bigger picture of the UK’s Mini population.

“Minis and the people that drive them always have plenty of character and we know that a lot of them are much more than just a car to their owners,” said Mini World Live event manager Kat Chappell.

“We want to celebrate this by finding the most popular, as well as some of the more unusual names that people give to their Minis.”

The census runs until Bank Holiday Monday (May 30) and full details of the show, along with the opportunity to buy advance early bird tickets are available at miniworldlive.co.uk
